Love Woods

On the way from the Longquan Temple to the Immortal’s Cave, there is a lush cypress wood. What is unconventional is that most of the cypress trees are linked in pairs. Therefore, this place is called the Love Wood. At the turn of the century, the Phoenix Mountain Park and the Century Wedding Organizing Committee jointly organized a grand wedding ceremony for over 1,000 couples. The newlyweds “adopted” the trees by hanging their names on the trees and wishing their love will last forever like the cypress trees.
